The Vadim Sidur Museum and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art with the support of the fābula gallery present 4REAL, a solo project by Alexander Lemish, in which the artist explores the images and myths of media space, as well as their impact on the minds of our contemporaries.

The exhibition by Lemish consists of objects that translate the mode of existence of today’s world, where people perceive the reality around them as a sequence of disparate phenomena and images. Society, losing its bearings in a clash of interpretations and speculations, finds itself repeatedly in increasingly unstable, borderline states.
Drawing on the findings of fashion designer Raf Simons and renowned trend-hunter Kanye West, Alexander Lemish offers a glimpse into the collapse of the old and the birth of a new world. To this end, he employs objects inspired by the work of Vadim Sidur, in which the addition of clothing items reveals unforeseen relevance. Lemish looks at Sidur as a harbinger of contemporaneity: it seems as if the poetry and works of the Soviet sculptor were meant for our twenty-first century.
