At the curator’s initiative, Russian artists and fashion designers explore the potential of our understanding of the cultural institution. A large-scale of display of Tabenkin’s oeuvre is timed to the 100th anniversary of the artist and will be held in Moscow for the first time. The exhibition comprises more than 100 works including the artist’s abstract still lifes dating back to the 1970-80s, the work that put him on the map. Tabenkin’s early figurative paintings and papier-mâché objects are also on view.
