The MMOMA Education Center on 17 Ermolaevsky Lane was opened in the winter 2017 on the one of the four venues of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. The creation of such a Center has become a logical development of the museum’s activity in the sphere of education and popularization of contemporary art, which allows to consolidate and expand all existing educational projects of the museum.

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art together with the «Free Workshops» MMOMA School of Contemporary Art present an annual MMOMA School exhibition «Workshops`17» which this year is entitled «Over There, Where No One Dreams: from Sacred Geography to Non-Place».

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art in partnership with the RuArts Foundation presents a retrospective exhibition of Sergei Borisov titled «Zeitgeist», which is held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of one of the most sought-after photographers of the turn of the century.

March 20 — May 1, 2017

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art in partnership with XL Projects presents an exhibition by the Krasnodar art group ZIP Group (Eldar Ganeev, Evgeny Rimkevich, the brothers Vasily and Stepan Subbotin). «ZIP Workers’ Club Station» is a total urban installation, which unfolds on the four floors of the museum each of which has its own title: «Now», «The Day Before Yesterday», «Afterwards», and «BARcelona».

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents a major project-retrospective of Valeriy Ayzenberg (b. 1947) MIGRATIO curated by Leonid Bazhanov. The exhibition aims to explore the context and development of contemporary art in Russia for the last fifty years through the works by one of the most distinguished Russian artists who made a name for himself in the 1980s and remains one of the most influential artists today.

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents the second session of an interdisciplinary and inter-institutional «The Human Condition» project. The session «HUMAN AND THE OTHERS. Love, friendship, suspicion, aversion» will focus on a human being in the framework of emotional relationships and his interaction with the social environment.
